Please join me in welcoming Principal Director Michael Jacobs and Manager Ken Yu who both have just joined the F&R Analytics practice and leadership team this week.
Michael Jacobs
· Michael will be focused on driving our F&R quantitative modeling activities including offering development and client penetration and reporting directly to me.
· Michael is a seasoned executive who has worked in industry, with multiple consulting firms, and is an ex-OCC senior examiner.
· He has worked across CCAP, ICAAP, IHC and Risk Appetite for multiple banks and as a regulator. He is active in the conference community as well as widely published in the Banking and Capital Markets analytics space
Ken Yu
· Ken will be focused on supporting our F&R CCAR and DFAST activities driving client delivery and is also reporting directly to me.
· Ken is an executive who has worked with multiple consulting firms and most recently defined and led an end to end DFAST program at a mid-sized bank.
· He has worked in the CCAR / DFAST space for a number of years and most recently spoke at the NY CCAR conference in March.
I am thrilled to have Michael and Ken formally join our F&R team. If you have not met Michael or Ken, please reach out to them in the next couple of weeks to introduce yourself and get to know them.

An MD called me today asking if I want to lead the financial servies practice. It would be a global role working around the world with global banks, on the topic of Responsible AI.
There's a lot of opportunity for me within the US in my current practice, and I feel like it's premature to leave right now.
So I'm most likely going to stay where I am right now.
Two years ago (maybe even 1 year ago) I would have immediately acceted this offer....
It's strange how timing is really the biggest factor in most of these decisions.

Thank you so much for this mom. This is honestly the best gift I can ever wish for. Looking back on the past 30 years, I am so much more appreciative of all the support and guidance you, dad and jon have provided to me. Last week while heading back home from my project in Texas, I found myself incredibly happy and content with where life is. I have the most supportive family, the most amazing extended family of aunts/uncles/cousins, and everything I could hope for at 30. As I've grown older, I have grown more appreciative and recognized how fortunate I have been. If life goes on like this, I would be perfectly content and happy. So, here's to staying optimistic, being content with where we are and what we've been dealth with, and celebrating each step along the way!
